To make your choice easier, here are four of our favourite restaurants with outdoor dining areas.


Set within the luxurious Hertfordshire countryside. Collette’s at The Grove Hotel has a beautiful surrounding & an even more wonderful terrace. The Goring Hotel – The Veranda


The word graceful encapsulates afternoon tea on the Veranda of The Goring. Set in London’s iconic, historic luxury hotel in Belgravia, this experience will not disappoint. To make your trip extra special the afternoon tea menu is even celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday! It’s boasts a selection of cakes and pastries including Her Majesty’s favourite fruit cake!

The Cross at Kenilworth

The Cross at Kenilworth hosts a rather impressive terrace garden and an equally impressive menu. This Warwickshire gem (unsurprisingly, by the name, situated in Kenilworth) is around 6 miles from Coventry & boasts impeccable dishes from Head Chef Adam Bennett.

Chapters Blackheath



A self-proclaimed blend of ‘informality and bonhomie of continental café society with the culinary skills of an award winning kitchen team’- we couldn’t have put it better ourselves! You have to be quick in Chapter’s Blackheath restaurant to secure yourself a table outside though as there’s only four!
